Ah! to work or Argh! not to work

“Hi Michele, thanks for your encouragement and support in my process around work and the business. I want to share with you and others how great work has been for me.

Having a job helped me no end. I have improved my confidence and have something to get up for now. I also like my job, which helps no end. I actually look forward to coming to work. I am not a fan of going home, especially when I go early, because it is something which I find boring, because I just watch tv.

I might drop a note to you to share future updates.

Mr G”

For Confidentiality of Mr G we are not sharing his full name and he didn’t post it on our Face Book page, however he gave me permission to post it. I am so impressed and pleased to work closely with Mr. G! In a few short months of working in his family owned business, Mr. G has been challenged to test his typing skills, flex his memory on Public Relations and Marketing skills and strategies, and, to learn the business from the inside of the office working hub.
Mr. G. could have chosen to stay back and not participated in the business. But it is an exciting and creative endeavor and he wanted in. He is going to work daily and enjoying the support of his colleague We met yesterday and I continue to marvel at his overall presentation. His demeanor and confidence sharpens every time I meet with him! In our session he told me that many people have noted what I am saying and have also told him that it is obvious that he is happy. He is clearly feeling a “part” of life and the family business rather than “apart” . He is such a role model to so many that are quite afraid to go back to work when obstacles seem to work against one when thinking of working.

I have the good fortune to meet with Mr G. to assist and to brain storm with him the strategies that he is using to keep himself on top of his game, so to speak, but I do hope that Mr. G will keep everyone up to date on how he is doing. I will post these on Face book if he sends me email or maybe he will send it himself.
Thank you Mr. G. you are an inspiration to me and so many with whom I have shared your story.

Michele
